Candy Blocks privacy policy
Published by Jordy de Koning. This policy describes Candy Blocks for iPhone, its local saves, and how support email and visits to this website differ from playing the game.
Offline play
Candy Blocks works without an account or internet connection. This version has no accounts, no ads, no purchases, no analytics and no tracking. The app has no network backend and sends no gameplay data to the developer or other companies.
Progress and recovery copies on your device
Completed levels, best scores, preferences and an unfinished run are saved in the app’s private local storage on your device. Previous local recovery copies help recover from an interrupted or damaged save. Unreadable or incompatible save copies may be preserved locally while the game attempts recovery.
Candy Blocks does not operate an account system or developer cloud-sync service. The developer cannot access or restore your local progress remotely. Progress is not guaranteed to survive deleting the app or moving to a different device.
Deletion and device backups
Deleting the app may remove its local saves, settings and recovery copies. Reinstalling starts fresh unless your operating system restores app data from its own backup.
Your operating system may include app data in device or cloud backups, depending on your settings. These backups are separate from the game’s local recovery copies and are controlled by the operating system, backup provider and your settings. Manage or delete them through those services. Deleting local app data does not remove copies from earlier device backups.
Support email
If you email hello@jordydekoning.com, your email provider and mine process your address, message and any attachments. I use the information you choose to send to answer your question or investigate the reported problem. Please send only what is needed and avoid sensitive personal information. You can contact me about a previous support message or a privacy concern.
The game does not automatically upload diagnostic reports, screenshots or saves to support. Contacting support is your choice and is separate from offline gameplay.
This website and other services
Visiting jordydekoning.com is separate from using Candy Blocks. This website uses counter.dev web analytics and loads fonts from Google. The website host, analytics and font providers may process technical connection information such as your IP address, browser information and requested page. These services are not analytics built into Candy Blocks and do not receive your local gameplay saves from the app.
Other apps on this website have their own features and policies. Your operating system, backup provider and email provider handle their respective services independently.
Your choices and contact
You can play offline without an account, manage device backups, decide whether to contact support and remove the app’s local data by deleting the app. Keep any backups you want before deleting it; Candy Blocks does not provide its own progress-transfer service.
