Train Chaos

Tap a switch. Send every train home.

A rail-switching survival game for iPhone. Trains roll in faster and faster, and each one must reach the station that matches its colour, letter and shape. Time your switches, hold trains at signals and keep them from colliding across eight maps, with offline play and no data collected.

Built for iPhone in landscape, on iOS 17 or later. There are no purchases, no ads and no accounts. Android is planned for later and is not available yet.

One tap at a time

Every train has somewhere to be.

Tap the switches

Each train shows the colour, letter and shape of the station it is heading for. Tap a switch to change where it points before the train gets there. A switch is locked while a train is passing over it.

Keep them apart

Where lines merge or cross, two trains meeting is a crash that ends the run. A warning appears at least three seconds ahead, so you can switch a train away, hold it at a signal or send it round a loop.

Survive the rush

Trains arrive faster the longer you last, new stations open mid-run, and fast Express and long Freight trains join the line. Three misdeliveries end the run, and one tap starts the next.

Inside the game

Calm at first. Then the rush.

Eight maps, three medals

One new idea at a time

Start on First Switch with a five-step guided tutorial. Each map brings in something new, and a short briefing explains a merge, a crossing, signals, freight or a loop the first time you meet it. Every run is endless: it lasts until three misdeliveries or a crash. Reach bronze to unlock the next map, then chase silver and gold. Your best score and medal are kept for every map.

Stations are told apart by colour, letter and shape, never by colour alone. Music, sound effects and haptics can each be turned off, and Reduce motion removes shaking and pulsing. Menus support larger text and VoiceOver labels.

How to play & settings
Offline by design

Just you and the switches

Train Chaos works completely offline and collects no data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party code. Your bests, medals, unlocked maps and settings are saved on your iPhone, in the game’s own storage, and in your own device backups if you make them.
